Threatcasting.ai is now accepting submissions. We're seeking bold, innovative voices to help envision, analyze, and disrupt potential futures.

We’re open to analytical non-fiction that applies foresight thinking, dives into emerging threat vectors, or offers practical insights based on the Threatcasting methodology developed by Cyndi Coon and Brian David Johnson.

We’re also looking for strategic fiction—narratives rooted in fact, science, and geopolitical reality that use storytelling to explore future threats, opportunities, and societal shifts.

🔍 What We’re After:

• Flash fiction or short stories (1,000–2,500 words approximately) grounded in plausible futures.

• Non-fiction reflections, essays, or provocations (500–1,500 words, or more if it's a significant enough topic) that reveal new insights.

• Creative explorations that help people see, feel, or understand the future—especially how to disrupt, mitigate, or recover from undesirable ones.

🎯 We’re especially interested in submissions that:

• Model emerging tech, systems, or threats with real-world consequences.

• Address STEEP factors (Social, Technical, Economic, Environmental, Political).

• Contribute to building Effect-Based Models (EBMs) or explore early indicators, gates, and flags.
